To the north, they are bordered by the Corbières in the Aude, to the east by Roussillon, to the south by Conflent (Têt valley), and to the west by the Pays de Sault, which is sometimes made to overflow into the Roussillon communes of Fenouillet, Vira and Rabouillet. Ce parcours est un mix des deux Via Ferrata principales, la Pichona et la Panoramique, il est un peu moins sportif que la Panoramique mais il permet de s’élever sur les grandes hauteurs des parois. Il est idéal pour les personnes ayant une bonne condition physique et sportive.
La séance dure entre 2h30 et 3h00.
Encadré par un moniteur spécialiste de l’activité, pendant 3h00, vous évoluerez toujours dans un univers vertical mais aussi sur câbles suspendus en traversant ponts de singe et ponts himalayens de type tibétains. Vous découvrirez les différents techniques d’ascension en verticale sur Via Ferrata.
Utilisation des longes avec mousquetons sur câble pour évoluer verticalement et horizontalement en sécurité. L’ascension progressive des différents obstacles permet d’évoluer tranquillement sur la paroi, tout en profitant de vues exceptionnelles sur l’ensemble des Fenouillèdes, le Canigó, la faille des Gorges de Galamus et le Puig de Bugarach dans l’Aude. Après avoir profité d’un superbe point de vue sur la vallée tout le long de la montée, le retour par un sentier escarpé vous permettra aussi, dans les senteurs de thym des Fenouillèdes, de découvrir selon la période la flore de ce massif calcaire comme les immortelles, les fleurs du ciste cotonneux et à l’occasion de croiser le vol de quelques rapaces nichant dans les falaises environnantes. -
