To the north, they are bordered by the Corbi\u00e8res in the Aude, to the east by Roussillon, to the south by Conflent (T\u00eat valley), and to the west by the Pays de Sault, which is sometimes made to overflow into the Roussillon communes of Fenouillet, Vira and Rabouillet.
